Atlas Wealth Nominated in Four Categories in 2018 ifa Excellence Awards
For the third year running Atlas Wealth Management has been nominated as a finalist in this years 2018 ifa Excellence Awards. What makes this year even more special than previous years is that not only are we a finalist in four categories but that James Ridley, who is one of our specialist financial planners that came on board in October 2017, has been nominated as a finalist in two categories which shows what a large impact he has made in the expat financial advice space in such a short amount of time.
The 2018 ifa Excellence Awards, the only program bench marking the success of the independent financial advice sector, is in its fifth year and rewards best practice and celebrates independently minded and client-centric advisers and firms across 20 categories.
“It’s always a humbling experience to be nominated as a finalist in these prestigious awards but to be shortlisted in four categories shows that we’re doing something right” said Brett Evans, Managing Director of Atlas Wealth Management.
“We are incredibly proud of the financial advice that we provide to Australian expats in over 25 countries however we understand the magnitude of the role going forward given the large amount of legislative disruption that Australian expats are facing with governments, local and foreign, introducing changes that effect expats financially.”
The four categories are:
- Innovator of the Year – Company Category (Atlas Wealth Management)
- Investment Adviser of the Year – Individual Category (James Ridley
- Best Client Servicing – Company Category (Atlas Wealth Management)
- Best Client Servicing – Individual Category (James Ridley)
Atlas Wealth Management has had the privilege of not only being nominated as a finalist in the previous two years but also winning the following categories:
- 2016 Innovator of the Year – Individual Category (Brett Evans)
- 2017 Investment Adviser of the Year – Individual Category (Brett Evans)
“The ifa Excellence Awards is the pinnacle of events for the nation’s independent financial advice sector,” said Aleks Vickovich, managing editor of ifa.
“This year’s finalists are among the top financial professionals in Australia and have been selected on the basis of high performance. Their involvement in this program singles them out as a high-quality financial advice practitioner that has the best interests of clients at the very centre of their business.”
The winners will be announced on Friday, 7 September 2018 at the Hyatt Regency Sydney.
