Launch of the Atlas Wealth Management Aussie Expat Insights Survey

We are pleased to announce the launch of the Atlas Wealth Management Aussie Expat Insights Survey. Global surveys of expats have been conducted in the past however they were not specifically for Aussie expats.

With over 1 million Australian expats living and working overseas there are many different stories to tell. Why did they become an Aussie expat, are they happy with the move, do they plan to return to Australia and many more.

“Time and again we meet Australian expats from all walks of life and they are scattered across the four corners of the earth. We have launched the survey because we want to gain a clearer picture of the Australian expat community. We want to hear their stories of why they moved, are they enjoying it, and would they recommend it to other expats or soon to be expats” said Brett Evans, Managing Director of Atlas Wealth Management.

According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) over 262,000 people left Australia for a period of greater than 12 months in the 2016-17 financial year and that is forecast to grow to over 270,000 people in the 2017-18 financial year.

“With more and more people looking to move overseas and live and work in a foreign country it’s the responses from surveys like this one that will help them determine whether the country they are looking to move to is the right choice for them” said Mr Evans.
